Patan Durbar Square Starts Post Earthquake Renovation works
Initiation of renovation work of the collapsed structures at Patan Durbar Square has started.
The Durbar Square staffs initiated the renovation work of the Mahadev Temple that was partially destroyed by the deadly quake of April 25. Local volunteers are helping the Durbar Square staffs on the renovation work.
The workers have been collecting scattered bricks. General public had been banned from entering inside the Durbar Square premises. Slowly as the intensity and number of after-shocks of the earthquake decreases, movement of people in the Patan Durbar Square are premises have increased compared to the past few days. Several of the 3rd century temples and monuments collapsed after the earthquake in Patan Durbar Square area.
