Dingboche acclimatization on Day 6:
Our second acclimatization day. We don’t take rest on rest days, we ascend to higher altitude and descend. Doing this helps our body acclimatize. So we hike up to Nagarjun Hill at 5100m and descend to Dingboche. Just a quick note that the views from top of Nagarjun hill are simply awesome.
Distance from Dingboche to Lobuche on Day 7:
Day seven is lucky day indeed as we leave behind the tropical green region and enter into alpine atmosphere. We ascend from 4410m altitude at Dingboche to 4910m at Lobuche via Pheriche at 4240m. Total walking distance is 7.7km and takes 5 to 6 hours of trekking activity in general.
