Altogether 61 People Rescued on Tuesday
According to Emergency Command Center at Tribhuwan International Airport, 35 Nepali citizens and 26 foreigners were rescued on Tuesday, 5th of April from different earthquake affected areas.
For rescue and relief operations 30 helicopters were deployed on Tuesday which 10 of those were of Nepal army, 2 of private companies, 13 of Indian Army and 5 of US Army. These helicopters carried total of 25.3 tons of relief materials and rescued 61 people on Tuesday.
Similarly, altogether 190 people were rescued a day before where 180 of them were Nepalese and 10 foreigners. Most of the people rescued were from villages of Gorkha, Nuwakot, Sindhupalchowk, Dhading, Dolakha, Rasuwa, Ramechap and Sindhuli districts.
The rescue and relief operations are being supported and carried out by army officers of other friendly countries too.
At the same time, Nepal Government has banned the use of drones for aerial photography and other purposes without the permission of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
