Danish Prince’s Visit reflects that Nepal is Safe for Travel

Tourism Professionals of Nepal have anticipated that Prince’s Visit to Nepal will flow the message that Nepal is safe for travel and it will be a positive sign to uplift tourism sector of Nepal that has been badly affected since April earthquake.

Danish Prince Frederick, who is on a four-day visit to Nepal, is scheduled to visit Lamjung district on Thursday. A high level officer of the Foreign Ministry will receive the Danish Prince and welcome him at the VVIP lounge upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu.

Prince Frederick’s itinerary during the visit was prepared by Kathmandu-based Danish Embassy and the International Red Cross. According to Lamjung Chief District Officer Shrawan Kumar Timilsena, the prince will take stock of the situation of Pachok in the aftermath of the April 25 earthquake. Prince Frederick will also meet the earthquake affected families during the visit. During his visit, Prince Frederick will be accompanied by International Red Cross representatives and an official each from the Foreign Ministry and Danish embassy.
