langtang-trekking-in-nepal

After deadly earthquake struck Nepal last April, after three months Nepal is all ready to welcome travelers from all around the world. California based earthquake geotechnical team of structural engineers were UK funded on behalf of Nepalese Government. They have prepared a report on Annapurna region that it is safe to travel for trekking and tours. Similarly the project is being operated at Everest region too.

Some people are still unsure about visiting Nepal. While, US base tour operator announced that scheduled trekking in Nepal trips will not be pulled off. They said, “We’ve been in consultation with all of our partners in Nepal since the earthquake”. “We sent one of our employees, who has been to Nepal many times, in early July to go visit all the places our guests visit on our tour. He inspected them and found that, much to his surprise, it was better than anticipated. Based on the media coverage, there were a lot of areas that were better than he expected them to be."

Therefore it is anticipated that slowly and steadily tourism sector will once again boom and trekking in Nepal along other activities will contribute in developing local communities, Nepal and Nepalese.
