Annapurna Region Trekking

Annapurna trekking region shows amazing natural and cultural diversification with exceptional hiking options in Nepal.  From few day hikes to weeks of walking adventures, peak climbing and other fun filled activities like paragliding, bungee, zipline and others, Annapurna is favorite destination for most trekkers. The diversified Annapurna region trekking route also connects hidden kingdom of Mustang with plenty of social and cultural exploration, religious insights. Trans-Himalayan landscape, Hindu and Buddhist culture can be experienced in Muktinath temple, the popular pilgrimage site in Mustang district. The floral highlights include walking through refreshing rhododendron trees during spring season whereas you may spot snow leopard and other rare Himalayan faunas too. In the similar way, trekking in Annapurna region lands you at the very heart of the grandest snow-capped mountains like Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri, and Fishtail (Machhapuchre) separated by world’s deepest Kaligandaki gorge. Likewise Annapurna trail follows the Marsyangdi River and the site beholds the Tilicho Lake, highest lake in the world.

You can come and enjoy Annapurna trekking trips mostly any time of the year. Trek routes at Thorung la pass and Tilicho lakes are challenging and not recommended during winter. Besides that it is always a great time to go for Annapurna treks. You will see blossoming rhododendron trees during spring months of March, April, May with clear views of Himalayan giants during autumn months of late September, October and November. Even on rainy months like July to mid September (monsoon), Annapurna treks are doable but you would rather expect of excellent vegetation, greeneries and not the Himalayan views. If you are lucky then only you can see the views during those cloudy months.

So, you must go for Annapurna treks at least once in your lifetime. This place has something to offer for every individual from adventure seeker to easy going travelers and family to group departures.
