Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu, we start our multi-country adventure with a half-day sightseeing tour around the cultural Kathmandu valley, followed by the Bhaktapur durbar square and the watching the scenic sunset and sunrise at the Nagarkot viewpoint. Chitwan is our next destination, where we will be experiencing the wild nature through the jungle safari. Elephant rides, jungle walks, boating, and bird watching are the main attractions of the Chitwan national park. Then we drive towards scenic Pokhara city, where we will hike towards Sarangkot hill. The Sarangkot hill offers panoramic views of the Annapurna range, Fishtail Mountain, and Mt. Dhaulagiri. After exploring Pokhara city, and Phewa Lake, we fly back towards Kathmandu. We will take another flight to Paro, and our Bhutan tour begins from here. The sightseeing around the Thimpu exhibits the Ta-Dzong, now the national museum, and Taktsang monastery (tiger’s nest), considered the symbol of Bhutan and is the unique landscape of Bhutan situated at the cliff. The Bhutan exploration continues at Wangduephodrang and Paro city. Then finally, we conclude our12 days Nepal-Bhutan tour after taking the return flight to Kathmandu.

After breakfast, at about 9 o’clock, we will take you a glimpse of a half-day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley, Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples in Nepal. We keep going for a walk to see the huge stupa of Buddha, also known as Boudhanath, the largest stupa in Nepal. Afterward, taking a ride to Bhaktapur, a fascinating town, visits Bhaktapur Dubar Square featuring the Victorian illustrations style with temples and temples complex. Today we leave for Chitwan, the Chitwan National park, perhaps the best park in Nepal, after arriving here; a tour briefing is organized before we begin Jungle Safari. The focal activities include bird watching, jungle walks, elephant rides, boating, village tour, canoeing, etc.

We drive to Pokhara today – about 140 kilometers from Chitwan and a 5-6 hour’s drive. The drive is very much similar to that we had while coming to Chitwan from Kathmandu. From Mugling, we drive further west into the mountains, following the rivers for much of the day. Pokhara, also nicknamed the Lake City, is not only Nepal’s but one of the most beautiful places on earth. The town offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, five peaks of Annapurna, and others. Pokhara is also the gateway for trekking in the Annapurna Region. After arriving at Pokhara, we make a sightseeing trip to some of Pokhara’s marketplaces, old bazaars, and landmarks. In the evening, explore the surrounding lakeside areas. Early morning we drive to Sarangkot Hill to have the sunrise views over the Himalayas. The Sarangkot Hill offers an excellent panoramic view of the Annapurna range, the twin tails of Machapuchhre (Fishtail), and the Dhaulagiri massif. After breakfast, we make a full day sightseeing in Pokhara. We also make a short visit to the Gupteswar Mahadev Cave (also called Shiva Gufa) located in the southern end of the city, Chorepatan. Some of the other places that we visit today include the Seti River Gorge, the Seti River that flows through the city makes deep canyons and goes completely underground at places. Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Paro (2,135m/7,000 ft) that offers fascinating views of the eastern Himalayan range of Nepal including Mt. Everest. On arrival, our Druk Yul representative will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel for a short rest and lunch. Later the day, you will explore around the Paro valley, visit one of the strategic but ruined fortress of Drugyul Dzong. From here, on a clear day, you can see Mount Jumolhari, Bhutan’s second-highest mountain at 7,314meters. You will continue through the beautiful valley to visit the watchtower, known locally as Ta-Dzong which is now the National Museum of Bhutan. Overnight at a hotel in Paro. Today, after breakfast, you will hike to Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) Monastery, which is Druk Yul's most famous monastery, situated at 3180 meters. Guru Rinpoche is said to have flown on the back of a tigress to meditate in a cave where Taktsang Monastery now stands. Lunch will be served in the Cafeteria Restaurant, about halfway up the mountain. The monastery is perched on the edge of a cliff, about 900 meters above Paro Valley. After having explored the monastery, you will hike down to Paro. Then drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Overnight at a hotel in Thimphu. (Breakfast, Lunch & dinner are included)
Today, you will explore the significant sites of Thimphu on a relaxed guided tour. Highlights include the memorial Chorten built-in memory of the late third King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, commanding 15th-century Changangkha Temple, the traditional indigenous hospital, the National Library with its treasure troves of manuscripts and ancient texts, and the traditional painting school where education is free for students to learn the old skills of conventional painting. Later on, you will drive through beautiful countryside to Wangduephodrang across the Dochula Pass, where on a clear day, you can get spectacular views of the Himalayas. From the pass, go downhill through rhododendron, fir, and hemlock forests. Check into the hotel on arrival. Overnight at a hotel in Wangduephodrang. (Breakfast, Lunch & dinner are included)
After breakfast, you will visit the Punakha Dzong, stunningly situated between the male and female rivers like an anchored ship. On the way back, you will visit Chimi Lhakhang, a fertility temple dedicated to Divine Madman or Lama Drukpa Kuenley. If you wish, receive the blessing from the Lama’s wooden phallus! Continue to drive to Paro via Dochu La Pass. Here, you will visit the new Druk Wangyal Monastery, which is the only of its kind in the country with elaborate paintings depicting the lineage of the present monarchy and their visionary works. Today you will be back in Kathmandu from Druk Yul. This morning we will transfer you to the Paro airport to catch your short but scenic flight to reach Kathmandu that goes again above the massive Himalayan range such as Mt Everest, Kanchenjunga, Chomolhari, Tsrim Gang, and Jichu Drake. On arrival at Kathmandu, we will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. The remaining time you can just rest and relax at the hotel or can explore the surrounding areas in Kathmandu.
