Modi’s “Clean Mission” at Mt. Everest
The message of cleanliness initiative “Swaach Bharat Abhiyan” initiated by India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to be carried forwarded by Indian Army’s Mountaineering Team at summit of Mt. Everest.
According to news agencies this Everest expedition is going to be held during mid of May this year by team of 34 mountaineers. It is organized on the special occasion of 100 years being completed when first ever Indian stepped at top of the world. This expedition team has been instructed to carry forward message of cleanliness and even organize Everest cleaning program.
As for pre acclimatizing and pre trip preparations some members of expedition team attempts Lhotse and some will attempt Everest. This expedition team is also taking part in Everest Marathon along with active involvement in cleaning Everest nearby places for 30 days. One of the expedition member said, “ Prime Minister Modi’s Clean India Mission is a huge success within the country and the same message will be sent across the whlole world from Everest summit”.
