President & CEO of Forbes Media in Nepal for Trekking
Mike Perlis, President & CEO of well known Forbes Media is trekking in Nepal this week. He was invited by Nepali entrepreneur Binod Chaudhary. Chaudhary was listed on Forbes magazine since few years back.Forbes Media is a global media, branding and technology company, with a focus on news and information about business, investing, technology, entrepreneurship, leadership and affluent lifestyles.
During his Nepal visit, Perlis will be heading towards Rara region along with some local entrepreneurs and former army officers. His visit to Nepal after devastating April earthquake is regarded as positive news by tourism entrepreneurs. It will convey positive message to outer world that Nepal is safe for trekking and other touristic activities.
Rara is one of the most beautiful trekking regions in Nepal. Still this place is in shadow among the travelers. Currently, local and foreign investors are planning for hotel projects at Rara.
Perlis joined Forbes Media in 2010 from SoftBank Capital, where he served as a General Partner for 10 years and continues to be a Special Partner.
