Seeing Mt. Everest up close and reaching its Base Camp falls in the bucket list of many people, but all people may not like the arduous trek up the base camp of this world tallest mountain, Mt. Everest, 8,848-meter (29,029-foot). Yes although journey to Everest is well worth taken on foot; but for those who don’t want the strenuous walk and who don’t have time can enjoy the Everest and it’s the spectacular scenario of the neighboring hundreds of snow capped mountains of the Himalaya on our Everest Heli Tour.
On Everest Heli tour organized by Icicles Adventure you will take a helicopter ride above through the majestic Himalayan mountain range, Everest base camp and then land at the famous Kalapatthar view point, which is located at an altitude of 5,545 meters. This stunning location, at the base of the highest mountain on earth, is truly like no other place on earth.
At 6 am we board flight from Kathmandu domestic airport. Starting from the view of Kathmandu valley and its surrounding hills, we fly eastwards towards the Everest region enjoying the view of mountains like Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Dorje Lakpa. Langsisa, Cho Oyu, Gaurishankar, Makalu, Lhotse, Nuptse, Mt Everest, Mt.Pumori khubu ice falls etc. We will fly above Everest base camp and land on Kalapather view point for brief period of time to snap photographs at this mighty altitude with majestic peaks at our background. We fly back relishing the view of Everest (8,848m), Amadablam (6,812m), Thamserku (6,623m), Khumbila (5,761m), Kwangde (6,011m) many other mountains. The mountains glow with the early morning sun’s rays golden making the whole scenario charismatic. We will stop at Syangboche Airport to get to the hotel situated at highest elevation, the Everest View Hotel, which is a best place to have your breakfast enjoying the view of Everest and surrounding peaks. After enjoying breakfast, we fly back to Kathmandu. The total flight hour (Everest heli tour) will be three hours and we will get extra time for breakfast, photography, viewing mountain etc, total about 4 hours.

Meeting Point: We will pick you up from your hotel located around the Kathmandu city area.
5:30 Transfer to Domestic Airport -Ride on helicopter
6:00: Fly into Himalayas. Fly parallel to Himalayas. Get take you closer to Mt. Everest and all the magnificent Himalayas, like Amadablam, Pumori, Nuptse, Cholatse, Cho Oyu, etc.
7:00 Landing on Kalapatthar to take pictures. It is suggested not to lengthen the photography and walk around time at Kalapatthar (15-20 minutes) because it’s a very high altitude and the temperature very cold for the engine. The Heli engine if got too cool might be problem to restart again. So you are requested to take quick pictures and enjoy the view taking about 15-20 minutes of time. The helicopter pilot will brief you about the mountains.
7:30 Take off and fly toward Syangboche.
8:00 At Syangboche, you will get sufficient time for breakfast (1 hour) enjoying the views. Breakfast at the world’s highest hotel, the Everest View Hotel enjoying the view of Everest and the Himalayan giants is a divine gratification, just imagine!!!
9:00 Return Back to Lukla for Refilling Gas and fly back to Kathmandu.
10:30 Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel
