Sarala Nepal

Born and raised in the Nuwakot district of Nepal, Sarala Nepal is an energetic licensed female trekking guide. She has been working as a trekking and tour guide since 2018, but she became part of Icicles Adventure recently in 2021.

Bold and beautiful Sarala had an intuition to be in the tourism sector since her childhood. So, she got a degree in Travel and Tourism. But, because her instinct always wanted to be among the mountains, rivers, villages, forests, and trails, she was not happy with her degree alone and the table work job. She wanted to be with nature and, hence, got a trekking guide training. Since then, this charming lady has been wandering around the Himalayan trails guiding the fervent trekkers. With her quick learning ability, charismatic personality, excellent communication skills, good sense of humor, exceptional organization skills, and sincerity in her profession, Sarala has been doing fantastic in her job as a female trekking guide and has proved herself as a qualified professional trekking leader.

She has already guided several trekking groups through various trekking trails of Nepal, including Everest Base Camp, Langtang Valley, Langtang- Gosaikunda trail, Poonhill, Annapurna Base Camp, Annapurna circuit, and so on.

Because of her excellent knowledge of the history, culture, religion, flora, the fauna of Nepal, and excellent communication skills in English, Sarala would explain very well anything a passionate traveler would like to know about Nepal.

Due to her passion for developing more, Sarala has been doing Spanish language courses during the covid-19 period. Hope she will also be able to lead our Spanish trekking groups soon.
