Nepal is a nation famous for being a tourist-friendly travel destination that has been a go-to place for many travelers and trekkers from all around the world since the early 1950s. Offering a great variety of ecological, natural, cultural, and historical significances, Nepal never fails to satisfy the inner desires of adventure enthusiasts and explorers alike. Although Nepal covers a small land area, there is a huge abundance of exotic travel destinations where travelers can discover a very interesting side of Nepalese terrains and communities who live in the remote regions of Nepal.

Similar to that, trekking is a great means to start one’s adventure inside Nepal. After all, the grandiose Himalayan mountain range is located here which consists of some of the world’s highest mountain peaks. Moreover, you can even find the majestic Mt. Everest which stands at a high altitude of 8,848 meters above sea level and is known all over the world as the world’s highest mountain. Furthermore, the fascination with climbing to the summit of Mt. Everest has made Nepal a major country in terms of mountaineering as well. However, most of the travelers simply come to Nepal to explore the natural and cultural riches of Nepal by going on a trek for a couple of days.

With that being said, some extravagant treks stand out the most from others as they allow you to go and experience the hidden beauty of Nepal with every step you take. You find breathtaking trails, charming mountain villages, monasteries, exquisite mountain sights and remarkably affectionate local people whose hospitality to cater to your needs will leave a great impression on those who have never visited Nepal. Among those trips is our Island Peak Climbing with Gokyo Lakes and Everest Base Camp. And if you want to try something extra along with trekking then this trip will also do you good as you will experience peak climbing as well.

Island Peak is situated inside the popular Everest region of Nepal where you will have to reach by taking a flight to Lukla town first of all. And then, you will begin trekking to Namche Bazaar. Next, you will enter Gokyo Valley through Dole and Machhermo villages. Once, there you can take a look at the gorgeous shimmering lakes where there is a small community village called Gokyo beside the lake. You can also hike up to the famous Gokyo-Ri for a breathtaking Himalayan view along with the Gokyo Lakes. After that, our trek route will take us to Everest Base Camp which is situated at 5,364 meters above sea level.

From there onward, we will start heading to Island Peak so that we can commence our peak climbing activities. However, before doing that, we will hike up to Kalapatthar (5,545m) to get a close-up view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, and Mt. Nuptse. Once we reach the top of Island Peak, you will get to observe a never-before-seen Himalayan scenery and it will be an achievement that you won’t ever forget. So, if you want to go on this trip inside the Everest region with us then simply contact us and we will make sure that everything is managed for your trip in Nepal with our experienced staff members.
